Most of us also have extensive training and experience in technology, so much so that some clients think we perform cyberspace miracles. HISTORY
Charles McLean, our founder, spent a decade gathering degrees and certifications and working in the trenches with local and national accounting firms. He spent the next decade building his own accounting firm. With a great appreciation of the value of timely and reliable management information, he became particularly interested in helping business owners maintain and utilize information systems. He believed if management information was well maintained, he could serve as a year-round proactive business advisor; income tax planning and return preparation would be seamless; and financial statement audits, reviews and compilations would be more efficient.
QuickBooks was just becoming popular as a solution for empowering business owners to maintain their own accounting system. While most CPA’s felt threatened by QuickBooks, Charles embraced it as a complement to traditional CPA services. Today, Charles continues to build expertise in entrepreneurial management, marketing and finance—and attracts clients seeking an advisor in these critical areas. He coaches and develops the firm’s staff in his unique methods so more business owners can reap the benefits of his services.
